What JSON structure works best?

The converter works best with a JSON array of flat objects, where each object is a row and each key becomes a column header. For example: [{"name": "Alice", "age": 30}, {"name": "Bob", "age": 25}].

What happens with nested JSON?

Nested objects and arrays are serialised to their JSON string representation inside the table cell. If you want flat columns, consider flattening your JSON first using FileMint's JSON Formatter.

Will the HTML work in email clients?

Yes. The generated HTML uses inline <style> tags and class-based styling which is broadly compatible with major email clients including Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.

Can I customise the table style?

Currently you can toggle borders and striped rows. The purple header uses FileMint's brand colour. For advanced customisation, copy the HTML code and edit the <style> block to match your design system.

Is there a row limit?

Accepted Answer

The converter has no hard row limit. Very large datasets (1000+ rows) may take a moment to render the live preview but the HTML output will be complete.
